Bibliography The Search for Power (4th Edition) Author: Graham Robson Date: 1999 The author provides insight into the success of Cosworth Engineering from the perspective of a trained automobile engineer. He tells the story of the personalities that took a small tuning business and grew to power numerous world champion motor sport drivers and developed a client list that included Ford, General Motors and Mercedes-Benz. The Power to Win Author: John Blunsden The author traces the racing career of the Ford Cosworth V8 engines in their different areas of the sport as well as the design, development and operation. Blunsden used his motor racing journalism skills and experience to tell the Cosworth story based on interviews with Ford and Cosworth personnel closely involved and the drivers, mechanics and team owners whose careers were impacted by the impact of the engines on international motor racing. Indy Race Cars Author: Dave Arnold The book contains information explaining the how and why of USAC and CART car mechanicals. The eighty color photographs provide a close-up look at the engines and and body work and a behind the scenes insight into how an Indy 500 team's garage is organized. The cockpit and engine designs require a special tools, computer systems and electronic brains.
